Greater Moravia was a Slav state that set up in modern day Slovakia. They were notable for their impressive fortresses and fought successfully against the Carolingians and the Magyars. Archaeological finds show richly decorated spurs and horse gear, numerous arrows, and characteristic axes. Later Slav cavalry from this region joined with the armoured horse of the Ottonians. I have therefore worked on the premise that they have cavalry, though not quite as good as the Franks or Sarmatian descended groups. I have placed the bulk of the infantry as FT because the use of axes and spears and resistance to the Franks gives an impression of solidity rather than skirmishing LI. The LI come from the mountainous areas. The combination of blocks of FT with LI and the wooded terrain make this an interesting opponent for the Franks.

Ordo Link: The Greater Moravia list is one of the first Warflute lists, and discussion came under the early, general and remarkable unwieldy New Armies Submissions thread. Its always interesting to scan through those early discussions.
