*BP4 Move 6". Not subject to Obligatory Charge.

**BP3 Move 9". Not subject to Obligatory Charge.

***Spanish and Italian Allies are HI. They may be based as LHI but with 2 sections per unit instead of 1 section. Regardless of their basing, these units are heavy infantry (FT) for all purposes. The basing variants are merely added as an accommodation to permit those players with Spanish or Italian armies to use figures from those armies here.

# One WB unit (of either type) must be purchased for every Spanish/Italian Allies FT unit purchased. The selection of WB types is not exclusive in this army. One may have one type or the other or both in any given army.

**** The elephants are included for those people who can't bear the thought of Hannibal without elephants. Evidence for their use after Trebbia is doubtful so their use is discouraged by the author.
