This list represents the armies that Attila led twice into the Eastern Roman Empire and twice into the Western. He beat the armies of the Eastern Empire on three occasions, but was held by Aetius at Chalons in 452.
It is a conglomerate of German and steppe tribes. Although The Germans have been named as Goths, Gepids, Suebi, Sciri etc. they are interchangeable. Similarly the Kutrigurs could be Huns. The units of HC FV5 represent that German tribe that is in favour with Attila at the time. The majority of the cavalry (Goths, Alans) are downgraded because they were not enthused at being Attilas subjects and rebelled when he died.
The RG in the terrain choice can be fielded as Attila's camp to which he retired after defeat at Chalons.
*The Warband are BP4 and move 6 inches.
**The LI can only be bought if at least an equal number of warband are bought. This is because they work with the Suebi warband . The LHI can be bought without such restrictions because they are the Heruls' main troop type (plus some HC). LI do not count against the requirement that one purchase all of the Bonus light troops in order to acquire an extra light division on p. 34 of the rules under Control Ratings, unless at least one unit is actually purchased. If one is purchased, then both must be in order to acquire the extra light division.
