Keshan was the most northerly of the Black Kingdoms.
O'Connor and Stelzer disagree over the availability of mounted units. I am of the opinion that, lying on the upper Styx, Keshan would have, like Nubia to Egypt, experienced two-way trade with Stygia and countries further north and east.
I have based the Keshani List on that of Numidia.
Keshan was allied with Zemabwei and Punt.
