The Norman Duchy took its well known form in 933AD and this period covers the armies of Normandy through this period with some additional option for allies in later campaigns and expeditions. However, no attempt is made to cover allies in great depth as they were not available in large numbers at this time. Later Norman armies with extensive allied contingents (such as Anglo-Norman, Anglo-Irish and Siculo-Norman) are covered elsewhere.
