This list represents the two Legiones of Roman Slaves (Volones, i.e. "Voluntaries" in Latin) that, under the command of the Consul Gracchus, defeated the army of Hanno at Beneventum (214 BC) during the 2nd Punic War. The Slaves were promised freedom if they took the head of one enemy to the Consul. They attacked ferociously but many of them, after having decapitated their opponent, went to Gracchus to receive their prize. The Consul then changed his promise saying that he would give them freedom only after the total massacre of the enemy army. The Slave Legionaries performed their brutal task and were liberated. For this reason I decided to make them WB, even if with Roman equipment and training (hence they all can deploy deep, if desired).
