I have assumed that the more affluent Boyars were more likely to fully adopt Western armor and tactics than their less affluent brethren yielding a mix of heavy cavalry troop types.
Franks could be French, Germans, Italians, Bohemians, or Latins from the Morean Kingdom.
The Noble Boyars are rated as HC as I believe that they had somewhat lighter equipment on the whole than Western European knights. I analogize them to men at arms.
