Terrain:

Core: 1 GR

Bonus: 2 Max.: 2 GR, 1 SH, 2 RG, 1 W

Notes:

Infantry not armed with bow are listed as armed with spear. They could also be armed with the halberd like dagger axe with no change in points cost or the army list.

Elephants were native to Central China in the early period of its history and were mentioned in struggles in the south.

Two horse chariots were often depicted with three crew members. They are, therefore, considered medium rather than light chariots.

*Heavy chariots were a very late development. They may not be used with elephants. Additionally, if any H4Ch are bought, then only 2 bonus M2Ch may be bought.

**Horse nomads represent the mounted bowmen to the north of the Shang. If any horse nomads are bought, all must be bought. Horse nomads may not be used with elephants or barbarians.

***If any barbarians are bought, at least 20 points must be spent on barbarians. Barbarians may not be used with horse nomads. All Barbarian WB are BP 3, move 9 inches.
