Some charioteers are described climbing into a chariot fully armed and with bow. So some of this type of unit is allowed. *However, the weapon denominated as a throwing spear is not a missile weapons as only LCh are permitted hand thrown missile weapons in Armati 2d Edition. Section 5.0. Missile Fire. pp. 9-10.
The Linear B tablets give the impression that equipment was provided (at least in part) by state armories. First rate troops of all types received good equipment. Since Troy was so rich, good equipment is assumed.
(d) Chariot Units may dismount prior to a battle and form up as infantry (FT). Dismounted heroes may improve the FV value of adjacent FT units by +1. Heroes may increase the frontal value of dismounted allies and Trojans by +1 when formed up adjacent.
Lukka and Doloneia may not be part of the same division
The Iliad mentions the Heroes dismounting and bolstering the infantry lines several times. The lesser factor for dismounted heroes and followers in comparison to FT is correct. Heroes were not keen to fight spear phalanxes directly.
Sword wielding Lukka appear as LHI here simply because Warband are generally proscribed in the Biblical lists by the authors of Armati 2.
NB. Chariot support units not allowed against Mycenaeans.
