This is the army of Ambiorix that destroyed a Roman legion and five cohorts commanded by Sabinus and Cotta and was subsequently hunted down by Caesar as being too dangerous to continue in existence. This army displayed flexibility not shown by Gauls elsewhere, possibly as a result of being trained by Iberians from the old Sertorian Army.
