Khauran was a small, easterly Hyborian Kingdom. The Hyborian elements seem to have, perhaps, composed of a small noble class inserted over a larger, Shemite or Turanian underclass. The Hyborian rulers seem to have absorbed much of their subjects' culture.

Stelzer suggests an Abbasid dynasty-type culture, while O'Connor suggests Islamic Caliphate. I have opted to base this list on the Arab Emirates.

The banner of Khauran was dark green.

Khauran was allied with Khoraja.
