Nemedia was one of the most powerful of the Hyborian kingdoms, and a constant enemy of Aquilonia. The Nemedian cavalry, drawn from the Nobility, looked down upon the infantry, mostly hired mercenaries. While capable of hard fighting, the infantry tended to be unenthusiastic. Battle field tactics seemed to involve hurling the infantry at the enemy's position to soften it up in preparation for a battle-winning charge by the cavalry.

The Nemedian army is based on that of the Teutonic Knights and German Imperialists.
