*These are the fully armored riders on fully armored horses depicted in art, on coins, in the written sources, and in archeology. They reflect a different view of the Asian cataphract.
**FV 1(0)0 LC may not outnumber FV 2(0)0 by more than 1.5 to one.
***If one purchases all three Indian FT, one may purchase an additional heavy division for 4 points. If one purchases any Indians, one must purchase at least one unit each of HC, Elephants, and FT which must be organized into the same division to reflect historical Indian tactical doctrine. The option to purchase an extra division and the requirement that there be a division consisting of HC, EL, and FT are both limited to historical play and require the consent of the opponent. Both are prohibited in tournament play. In historical games, Indians may only be used in India exclusive of Afghanistan and Pakistan. They may always be used in tournament games.
**** One may only purchase a woods if one purchases Indian Allies or Subjects.
This army may also be used in Antiquity.
