Zagros Mountain Highlanders 3000 to 2500 B.C.

A (very) speculative attempt to represent the inhabitants of Zagros mountains (Guti, Kassites and Lullubi tribes), north-east of Mesopotamia. The Zagros are a group of mountains and highlands located in present day western Iran.

During the early Sumerian civilization of Mesopotamia (3000-2500 BC, also called Period I and Period II ) they were inhabited by a group of nomadic-pastoral tribes - the distant ancestors of today's Kurdish nation.
